Oldfield Manor Celebrates Ellen Tomlinson’s
100th Birthday

On 15th July 2025, Oldfield Manor Care Home came together to celebrate a very special
milestone: the 100th birthday of resident Ellen Tomlinson.

The home was transformed for the occasion, with vibrant decorations setting a festive
tone throughout. A delicious buffet was laid on for the occasion, and a lively performance
had residents, staff, and family members joining in the fun. Games and activities added to
the celebratory atmosphere, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

At the heart of it all was Ellen herself, surrounded by the people who made the day so
special. Staff, residents, and family came together to mark the occasion, reflecting the
warmth and togetherness that residents and their loved ones can always expect at
Oldfield Manor.

It was a joyful and memorable day for Ellen and everyone who joined her — and a lovely
