Thorncliffe Care Home Announces 20-Bedroom Expansion

We’re delighted to announce an exciting new chapter for Thorncliffe House,

with plans underway for a 20-bedroom expansion that will bring state-of-the-art facilities

and a fresh new standard of comfort to the home.

The expansion has been designed with both residents’ wellbeing and environmental

responsibility in mind. The new wing will be a green building, incorporating sustainable

design principles throughout, and will feature EV charging points to support visitors, staff,

and family members with electric vehicles.

Inside, residents can look forward to state-of-the-art

technology and environmental control systems, allowing for a more comfortable,

responsive, and personalised living environment in every room.

Comfort and Care in Every Detail

Every one of the 20 new bedrooms will include its own ensuite wet room,

offering residents greater independence, privacy, and dignity in their day-to-day care.

Behind the scenes, the home will also benefit from a new digital laundry system,

helping ensure the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency continue to support the excellent care

Thorncliffe provides.
